also, a size 2 fits a very large cat quite well, but it's a little ghetto for your average cat sized cat.

Our cat is plenty fat, but maybe a little more ghetto than the patient and distinguished felines pictured above. Is there a sleeveless model, or should we just plan to deploy scissors after delivery?
